Your team just finished something significant - a year, project, quarter or milestone. Before rushing into what's next, take four hours to reflect on what's done and look forward to what's coming. Season Recap™ is the workshop-in-a-box that turns team reflection into genuine connection and commitments that stick. Structured to get real outcomes, relaxed enough to enjoy it. No external facilitator needed, your team guides itself through the materials together.

What is it?

Season Recap™ is a Netflix Series themed workshop-in-a-box. Why TV? Because stories are memorable and metaphors hold attention longer than bullet points.

Your team moves through 4 self-facilitated activities, all in TV style.

  1. Reflect as a team - Reflect on what actually mattered (not just KPIs)

  2. Recognition - Your own journey + appreciating team members

  3. Forward looking choices - What do you want your next 'season' to look like?

  4. Closing - A memorable reminder to take into the new 'season'.

The workshop runs itself through cards, envelopes, and activities. Your team follows along together. Four hours. Real outcomes. Including breaks.

What you'll walk away with

  • Everyone participates equally (not just the loud voices)

  • Renewed energy before the next 'season' begins

Activity 1: Clarity on what happened

  • Everyone leaves with a shared story of why this season mattered

  • Real moments captured, not just metrics

Activity 2: Connection that's genuine

  • Recognition for team members that is specific, not generic

  • Personal growth stories that strengthen team bonds

Activity 3: Commitment to action

  • Clear commitments for next 'season' witnessed by the whole team

  • A list of things to leave behind

Activity 4: A helpful tool to stick to commitments

  • An anchor that will help the team to keep connection and commitments alive

Who is it for?

You know your team needs to reflect, but:

  • You don't have time to design something from scratch

  • You don't have budget for an external facilitator

  • You want to participate, not facilitate

  • Your usual session feel rushed or forgotten within weeks

  • You want to try something different than the usual

Season Recap™ is for lead(ers) ready to try something with a twist.

Also perfect for: HR and L&D professionals supporting multiple teams - just send boxes and teams handle the rest.

When to use?

  • Quarterly retrospectives

  • Year-end reflection

  • Leadership team alignment

  • Team offsites or away days

  • Project milestone closures

Not quite ready? If your team has never paused to look back together, start simpler. Season Recap™ works when you're ready to go deeper than your usual retro format.

How it works

The materials guide everything. No facilitation skills needed, just need a team willing to be present with each other. This is how it works:

Order (3 min)

  1. Buy the Season Recap™ box online

  2. Add the extension pack if you have 8-14 people in your team

  3. Pre-orders will be shipped end of January 2026

Prepare (30 min)

  1. Send the invitation email to your team (template included)

  2. Read the pre-workshop requirements

  3. Arrange location, playlist, and materials (easy to use checklist included)

Run the workshop (~4 hours including breaks)

  1. Open the box and read the welcome letter

  2. Arrange the materials and 2 posters (on tables and on the wall)

  3. Choose who takes the director role first (this rotates between activities)

  4. Follow the materials through activities 1 → 2 → 3 → 4, with breaks in between

  5. No facilitation skills needed. Just a team willing to be present with each other

  6. Pack everything back in the box for next time

  7. Close with lunch, dinner, or drinks together (recommended)

After the workshop (10 min)

  1. Hang the output poster as a visual reminder

  2. Use the created anchor when needed to regain focus and energy
